| Hi, I have bought the PetPorte cat flap. An my three cats have just been chipet today. The chip brand used is AVID. The door did recognise all cats, but I had to hold them verry close to the sensor coil. I know that FDX ID chip uses 134Khz signaling frequency. And the AVID uses 125Khz. Is the PetPorte tuned for the 134Khz? Could this be the reason for the poor detection range? my question is then: is it possible to tune it for 125Khz? Kind regards Norwegian user. |

| Can you email me the microchip numbers to james@microchipcatflaps.co.uk as there are several types of AVID chips. The ones that work at the European standard 15 digit microchips except for the temperature sensing chips.
