| I don't know if I'm being particularly useless but have spent an entire day trying to fit this cat flap. Apart from appearing to need about six hands in order to hold the front part to the back part whilst trying to fit the very fiddly wire in place - the screws seem to be in very in accessible places. when I finally thought it was all in place the wire thing had come adrift. I'm afraid I am giving up and admitting defeat and leaving for my husband to do it - very frustrating. my cat thinks I've gone loopy as I keep trying to push her this door to see if it works and she is now high on her favourite cat nip treats!!!!!!!! |

| I know what you mean. It helps if you get one person to hold one side and another person to hold the other side especially whilst putting the nuts on the bolts! Here is a quick video showing how mine was installed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AgV82LvL-U It is very easy to fit especially in a wood or UPVC door. You can easily do it yourself using a hacksaw. It doesn't even matter if you don't make a very neat hole because the design of the Pet Porte microchip cat flap completely covers up the hole and the two halves fit neatly together. |
