How to change the light sensor lock/unlock level

The Pet Porte microchip cat flap comes preprogrammed with a light setting recommended by vets.

If you would like to adjust the setting so that the door unlocks earlier or if you want your cats to be able to go out later at night for example it's really easy.

When the light has just reached the level where you want the door to automatically unlock hold the red button for 20 seconds. You will hear the PetPorte beep and both lights will flash. Now press the green button to set the current light level. PetPorte will beep twice to confirm the new setting.

This only applies if you have your microchip cat flap in the Night Mode setting.

If you disconnect the power and turn it on, I've just been told by the designer, that the mode is remembered. You don't have to program the mode again, just like your cats microchip numbers are all remembered even if there is a prolonged power cut.
